ENRECO, whole, ground flaxseed can make an excellent addition to spaghettis, noodles and other pasta dishes, contributing al dente texture and a pleasant, whole-grain flavor and color. Pasta extrusion is a low-shear process so the flaxseed should hold up very well. This is a good ingredient for use in gluten-free formulas as well, as flaxseed’s significant soluble dietary fiber content contributes texture and binding to the pasta.
