Gold Standard Quality
Whole flaxseed’s high concentration of healthy poly-unsaturated essential oils requires a special application of both art and science to grind it into shelf-stable flour. ENRECO’s proprietary processing methods guarantee a minimum shelf stability of one year or more under ambient storage temperature conditions. We call this one of the three pillars that uphold our Gold Standard Quality program, which is as follows:

1. Proprietary Stabilization Process

Our proprietary grinding process protects the oil in our flaxseed from exposure to air and oxidation, thereby guaranteeing a minimum one-year shelf life.

 

2. Low-microbial counts

A mild heat treatment combined with other steps in our “triple-cleaning” process results in very low microbial counts, far below those normally associated with whole-grain ingredients. No chemicals or additives are used – it’s 100% All-Natural!

 

3. AIB Certification

ENRECO submits itself annually to American Institute of Baking (AIB) audits for product quality and safety. The AIB quality and safety compliance criteria are among the toughest compliance standards in the food industry.

 

 

ENRECO offers both conventional and organic quality ingredients, certified under the OneCert program and fully compliant with U.S.D.A. National Organic Program. All ENRECO ingredients are kosher certified by the Chicago Rabbinical Council (cRc), a certification recognized by leading kosher authorities worldwide, including the Orthodox Union (Circle-U). All ENRECO flaxseed ingredients are non-Genetically Modified Organisms (non-GMO).
